A livestock development expert and strategic advisor with more than two decades of experience.
Michael Apamaku brings experience across agriculture and rural development, animal health and One Health, trade access, climate-smart livestock, financing, and policy. His career includes high-level engagements in livestock-centered agricultural development and One Health with institutions such as the World Bank, FAO, ILRI, IITA, Bioversity International, CGIAR, and private-sector partners.
Michael is a veterinarian with advanced training in quantitative epidemiology, integrative pathobiology, and agricultural economics. He also has training in carbon accounting, including GHG quantification and national inventories, GHG projects and reductions, and GHG validation and verification under ISO 14064 frameworks.
